BMVSS has a dedicated quality control team to ensure that consistency in its high standards is maintained for all its products and services. Stringent quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement practices are incorporated at each level.

A state-of-the-art rubber testing laboratory has been set up in-house to ensure that all raw materials like red rubber, tread rubber and MCR (micro cellular rubber) used for the fabrication of the Jaipur Foot conform to the desired standards. Raw materials and equipment are sourced from suppliers and manufacturers known for their quality practices.

Post-production, random samples of the Jaipur Foot are subjected to 3 lakhs cycle on cyclical loading and static load deflection tests using the universal foot testing machine with dual actuators, the only one of its kind in India.

For BK prosthesis, inner liner is made up of Pediline which is substitute of silicone (because of silicone inner liner has short life and its emission of sweat in hot country like India is not suitable).
