
Project details and project progress report under CSR grant sanctioned by REC Foundation in favour of BMVSS
REC Foundation (RECF) and Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on 27th August, 2024 under which RECF will provide CSR grant of Rs. 5.00 crore to BMVSS for providing 8000 nos. of aids and appliances (Artificial Limbs/Calipers, Crutches (Pair), Wheelchairs and Hand paddled tricycles) to special-abled persons at various locations in India under CSR initiative of RECF. RECF desired holding camps for rehabilitation of the disabled at Rajouri- Poonch-Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir), Gadhchiroli-Shirdi (Maharashtra), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Ranchi-Chatra-Lohardaga (Jharkhand), Gazipur-Balia-Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh), Gaya-East Champaran-West Champaran (Bihar), Sukma-Narayanpur-Janjgir Champa (Chhattisgarh), Panipat-Sonipat (Haryana), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Goa (Goa), Jaipur Center of BMVSS (Rajasthan).
In compliance, BMVSS has held 14 camps between 25.09.2024 to 05.02.2025 at Ranchi (Jharkhand), Shirdi (Maharashtra), Gaya (Bihar), Poonch (J&K), Janjgir-Champa (Chhattisgarh), Panipat (Haryana), Sonipat (Haryana), Jammu (J&K), Gadchiroli (Maharashtra), West Champaran (Bihar), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), East Champaran (Bihar), Lohardaga (Jharkhand) and Jaipur center (Rajasthan) in which 4022 disabled persons have been benefited by providing them 3807 appliances and Bilateral 215 total 4022 appliances (Limbs/Calipers 2022, Crutches 600, Tricycles 710 and Wheelchairs 690) involving aggregate cost of Rs. 2,43,95,600/-.
